Academic and professional writing functions as a powerful form of cultural capital. Strong writing can shape opportunity, influence decision makers, and help individuals achieve success on their own terms — whether applying for scholarships, grants, or academic programs, or working towards career advancement.

Write for Success supports students, educators, nonprofit leaders, and small business owners in strengthening writing for high-stakes academic and professional contexts, where clarity, positioning, and tone have real impact.

About Us

Write for Success helps you turn your ideas into strong, compelling writing built around your goals and story. We have proven, successful experience in obtaining academic scholarships and program acceptance for students and grant funding opportunities for startups, nonprofits, and other businesses. Additionally, we offer proofreading, feedback, and editing services for other professionals.

Our Stance on Artificial Intelligence

AI tools can help with structure and speed, but they often result in generic or inauthentic content. Copied and pasted AI material is often easy to identify — especially in academic and funding spaces. Additionally, AI detectors are becoming more advanced each day.

Write for Success offers personalized support that highlights your strengths and vision. We help you use AI ethically and effectively, and our approach supports your process without compromising originality or crossing academic integrity lines. The result is writing that sounds like you, shaped with intention, clarity, and purpose.

Our Founder

Treasa Praino is a Ph.D. candidate in Special Education and Disability Studies at Syracuse University, a university-level instructor, a published scholar, and a certified New Jersey teacher. She founded Write for Success after recognizing that conventional writing standards often disadvantage those who communicate outside established academic and professional norms. This recognition drives her work to make educational and funding standards more accessible and transparent – equipping clients to pursue their own versions of success through their writing.

Testimonials

At Write for Success, we take great pride in helping you to reach your goals through the quality of services and value we provide; equally satisfying are some of the kind messages that our clients have shared after working with us.

I finally secured a Fulbright grant to Guatemala, thanks to Treasa’s help editing my statement of purpose. The award was worth approximately $20,000 in funding. She helped me write a proposal that was very clear and personal. She really helped me attend to Guatemala’s cultural, economic, and historical landscapes. She also talked to me about her Fulbright experience in South Africa and offered me advice for my international journey!
Fulbright Grant Recipient
Thanks to Treasa’s support, I received almost $60,000 in scholarship offers from NYU and the University of Chicago. Her feedback was honest and very insightful. She takes the time to develop a relationship with you and celebrates your wins, which is awesome.
Graduate Applicant, Psychology
I won a competitive diversity fellowship after working with Treasa. Treasa helped me strengthen my message without changing my whole writing style. She showed me how to use AI tools ethically, and demonstrated her commitment to inclusivity by making sure our meetings were accessible.
Diversity Fellowship Winner
When Treasa reached out to me for IT guidance, I was thrilled to learn that she is a strong proponent of internet accessibility for all - as I am. Little did I know that she would help me to expand my knowledge in that area! It was an absolute pleasure collaborating with her and I hope we work together again.

My son got into Princeton and three of his other top choices. We are convinced his personal essay, that Treasa helped him refine, made all the difference! She helped him tell a story that felt really true to him and impressed admissions committees. She especially helped my son align his goals with each university’s mission. We are really thrilled to recommend Write For Success!
